Welcome to RideGo (“we,” “our,” or “us”), operated by AK Innovations. RideGo is a peer-to-peer decentralized vehicle rental platform connecting vehicle fleet owners with renters directly for self-drive rentals.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, process, and disclose your personal and sensitive information in compliance with Google Play Developer Policies, the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India), and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

  2. Identity & Vehicle Verification: Verifying vehicle RC documents and driver licence eligibility.
  3. Communication: Enabling direct calls and in-app chat between renters and owners for trip pickup/dropoff coordination.
  4. Safety & Fraud Prevention: Detecting illegal activities, vehicle theft, double-bookings, unauthorized drivers, and unverified listings.
  5. Legal & Accounting: Complying with accounting obligations, tax regulations, and processing owner subscription fees.

4. Disclosure & Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third-party data brokers. We disclose information only under the following strictly defined scenarios:

  1. Between Renters and Fleet Owners: Sharing contact details, hub pickup location, and booking status necessary to complete a rental trip.
  2. Third-Party Service Infrastructure: We utilize trusted service infrastructure including:
    • Google Firebase: Cloud database (Firestore), authentication, and media storage (Firebase Storage).
    • Payment Gateways & UPI Providers: Facilitating direct owner-to-renter transactions and subscription processing.
  3. Legal Compliance & Rights Protection: We may disclose user details and location history if required by law or if necessary to investigate vehicle theft, accident claims, fraudulent payments, or breaches of our Rental Agreement.

5. Data Security & Storage (IT Act, 2000 Compliance)

We store and process your information using encrypted cloud infrastructure (Google Firebase). We implement reasonable security practices and procedures as mandated under rule 8 of the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

While we take all reasonable technical precautions to safeguard your data, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy and any disputes arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any legal claims or proceedings related to RideGo.
